Tonight history will be made. Barack Obama will be the first black man to accept the nomination of a major national political party and he will do that on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s famous I Have A Dream speech. To steal a phrase from Juan, “This is big”.

The weather seems to be clear. So much for the prayers for rain.

Fox “news”, of course, is already trying to come up with reasons why the outdoor event is a bad idea. But I guess that’s to be expected too.
