Authorities in South Africa are investigating a looking a scam in which a woman, Busiswe Zakwe, allegedly swindled thousands of dollars from investors by promising ticket sale profits if they brought an R. Kelly tour to the country in 2005. Initially it was believed that Kelly profited $130,000 from a tour despite failing to show up, but according to a statement released by the camp Zakwe acted alone according to E!. Zakwe who has been charged with fraud and faces imminent prosecution says she deposited the investors’ money into R. Kelly’s account.

Local police have reportedly “confirmed” that the account Zakwe claims is Kelly’s is authentic, but the money is nowhere to be found. Police want to question Kelly about the missing funds.

Here’s the statement from R. Kelly’s camp:

“There is absolutely no truth to the reports that R. Kelly received money from a South African woman accused of swindling investors by convincing them to invest in a non-existent R. Kelly tour in 2005. Mr. Kelly has no knowledge of this woman, has never received any money from her, and has not been contacted by any law enforcement authorities regarding the matter. He will, of course, cooperate fully with any legitimate investigation of this matter, since he has nothing to hide.”

I guess trouble just seems to always follow certain individuals.  I’m not even talking about the pissing on you/ underage slut trial.  He’s always playing with fire dating back to his alleged involvement with a then very underage Aaliyah.  Now he got (somewhat) of a pass back then cause lets face it ANY man would want to be with her and it didn’t last long but it seems that bad Karma has certainly conjured up a cloud around him.  Start a foundation or something, do some good maybe you’ll find some good fortune.  You and Mike Vick need to stay away from me though.
