So the blogosphere has been swirling with rumors surrounding the video of the mysterious collapse of former Jodeci group member Jo Jo while his brother, K-Ci seemingly unfazed continued to sing. We’ve heard everything from the two being high and/or drunk at their concert in Australia to the incident being fueled by an ongoing fueled between the biological brothers. But if you beleive K-Ci the issue has been put to rest.

Yesterday Mike brought the video and even was kind enough to update the story with the audio clip of K-Ci visiting New York’s urban radio powerhouse, HOT 97 to share the “real story.” Ordinarily I would have let the issue drop but I had to go in on this…

“In case people don’t know — and I’m bringing it public right now — my brother JoJo is epileptic. He had seizures. Not trying to make no excuses for anything, we did an over an hour show. … We started to cancel the show ’cause he had a seizure the night before we had to get on the plane. We did a 20-hour flight, man, then had to go straight to the stage. I knew my brother was gonna get sick.

In a part of our show, when we doing ‘Crazy,’ JoJo act like he crazy on stage. I’m used to that, but that night, it wasn’t crazy. So, I’m like ‘There he go.’ But when I look at him, from the back of my head, I’m like ‘Oh, my brother … is not crazy.’ I got scared. Don’t nobody think about how I felt? That’s my brother … I’m like ‘Yo, this is for real, this isn’t a part of the act right here.”

Hmmmmmmmmmm. If you believe that I got a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you. I’ve always liked the Jodici music and clearly their era has passed a long time ago but his mind is still clouded by the hallucinagenic affects of drugs.

“People try to say we on drugs? Come on man. We not on no drugs, come on now. Ain’t nobody on no drugs. Don’t get it wrong now, we do drink our Moet and Cristal. Don’t get it twisted. When it come down to get to work, we love our fans.”

Son, you and Mary were basically crack head lovers. Why should I believe that you’re not on drugs and what does loving your fans have to do with anything? You allow your so-called epileptic brother to drink Moet and Cristal but you don’t smoke weed, snort lines or suck on a crack pipe? And peep this…he’s blaming Bill Gates for the entire incident. “I hate Bill Gates for inventing the computer or whatever it’s called,” K-Ci said. “I don’t even mess with it.” Or whatever its called? Bee the computer isn’t some new invention its not the hot new technogadget profiled on Engadget. Lay off the drugs bro.

According to K-Ci his bro is fine and the duo plans to continue their geriatric tour in Australia when he gets out.
