What’s up Nation.  Today marks the 8th birthday of Highbrid.  Now most of you of course are most familiar with Highbrid Nation the blog but there are two other entities that also make up the conglomerate, Highbrid Entertainment LLC (the original) and Highbrid Outdoor, Inc. our advertising and marketing company.

As you’ve come to know Highbrid Nation it really encompasses what Highbrid is all about, extended family.  We’re all inclusive and welcoming, The Highbrid Nation is a term we coined years ago to define not only those employed by the “H” but those who in someway understand and share the ideals of Highbrid.  You as readers are card carrying members of The Nation and as such have every right to The Highbrid Nation as I do.  YOU…control the content and direction of this blog and thus why we welcome your feedback, critisim and do our best to honor any reasonable suggestions you make.

In recognition of this day I didn’t want to display a birthday cake or ballons and have everyone wish us happy birthday because although that’s cool at the end of the day it doesn’t mean a whole lot.  As the chief Executive Officer of Highbrid Outdoor Inc., and one of the original partners of Highbrid LLC., there have been a lot of people in my life that have helped me personally get to where I am and subsequently where HIGHBRID is today.  I wanted to take this time out to thank them.  Naturally I can’t thank them all but I wanted to recognize a few of those who have since passed on since Highbrid’s inception.

Now, as I mentioned Highbrid Nation is all inclusive so I welcome all of you as citizens of the Nation to do the same.  We remember…and we thank you.
