I still remember exactly where I was when I heard the news, R.I.P Aaliyah……freshman year of college, then 9/11…damn is time flyin or what?

For me, it was the week before I started my senior year of HS. I found out the next day when I looked at the cover of the Chicago Sun Times. I’ll never forget seeing her picture with the shocking byline under it.
