Aight i’ll admit it.  Since I’ve started blogging I’ve become a bit of a techno-geek.  Just two years ago I didn’t even know what a blog was now I’m an expert at RSS and Wordpress design, I can tell you what microblogging is and I have a Twitter account.  (THANKS MIKE!)

For the most part I don’t get much excitement from Twitter until this morning when Q-Tip one of the artists who personally uses his own account albeit only occasionally, started talking reckless about Spin Magazine.  Although the venom started yesterday he clearly is still mad as of last night.  Here’s the transcript:

I haven’t really known Q-Tip to be a Queen so I won’t call this diva behavior but he has been hanging around Kanye a bit too much.  I kind of like it though.  This is what Rap/ Hip Hop Beef 2.0 has become.  In the past we saw Soulja Boy and Ice T go at it with the YouTube Beef exchange and now we’ve got Q-Tip spitting venom via Twitter.  I think however with the Twitter comments its unedited and in real-time.  Tip said what he felt at the time and there’s no taking it back there’s no waiting till press deadline to hear how you feel.  Very interesting in my opinion.  I’m sure we’ll see the details of his gripes play out in the trade rags and blogoshphere over the next few days.  Stay Tuned.
