Janet Jackson Wants To Sell You Her Draws, Launches Pleasure Principle Lingerie Line
Janet must have heard people saying that they “wanted to get in her draws” and misunderstood what they meant.
Janet Jackson is too old. Not too old for Earth. Not even to old to “get the business”. Just too old to be trying to drop these corny pop songs that she has been trying to peddle to us. Looks like she’s finally starting to understand that herself and is looking to make some cash doing something other than getting fat and quickly losing the weight so she can appear in every magazine talking about how she did it (how many times has she done that, like 8?). Unfortunately for her, Janet is from the old school where recording artists make their money from selling records and that’s it. So the idea of venturing outside of the music related projects is new to her and its rare to see her name attached to other businesses. Thats all changing though.
Janet is teaming up with Australian lingerie designer Bruno Schiavi to launch the Pleasure Principle Lingerie line (get it?). the 18 piece line ranges in size from 32A to 44G or as I like to think, “Velvet Rope” to “Nutty Professor 2″. All the pieces will be under $40 but will be sturdy enough that boy band members will not be able to easily expose unsuspecting mammary glands on live television.
Here’s what Janet had to say on the line…
“I hate when you’ve had on a bra all day long and you just can’t wait to take it off — every woman has experienced that. A lot of lingerie tends to leave those marks and be uncomfortable. This line is about detail, fit and comfort as well as beauty and making women feel sexy.
In order for me to do something I have to be very passionate about it or I won’t give it my all. I had so much fun designing this.”
It’s something for every woman, and I truly do mean that. It makes you feel sexy.”
No word when the line will actually be in stores or whether Michael will be a spokes model.

Janet is a talented performer and a beautiful women. That doesn’t mean she’s not without her flaws and questionable moments and I see no problem with making light of those. It doesn’t mean I dont resepct what she has done. I got more than a few Janet albums in my collection. It just happens to be the older stuff from back when she was with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.
Transition into older age! She never hide her age or said anything about her age! I can see if she was lying about her age but she ain’t. I mean look a Whitney nobody ain’t make a big deal about her dating Ray-J and she is older then Janet! Who cares about her age! Janet been around since she was a child so now she should give up because of her AGE?
