60th Anniversary Emmy Awards Ask You To Vote On TV’s Most Memorable Moment
What is YOUR favorite television moment?
The 60th Anniversary Primetime Television Emmy Awards will reflect on the most memorable moments in television history. To help decide, they’re giving the public the chance to vote on their favorite TV moment.
Among the 20 candidates (that the Highbrid Nation would remotely care about) include The Cosby Show (Happy Anniversary, Oct. 10, 1985), South Park (Trapped in the Closet, Nov. 16, 2005). Among the drama category is Roots (Episode 1, Jan 24,1977)
To vote now log onto the special abc.com now through September 15. From there you can watch clips and select your favorite moment online. The top five contenders in each category will be presented during the Emmys on September 21 where the winners will be announced.
I’ve always said that (along with the Wire) the best show in the history of Television was The Cosby Show however this is selecting the best MOMENT! I remember the last episode was crazy I can remember my eyes tearing up a bit. Remember Boys II Men made a special Cosby Finale version of End of the Road? It was a big deal. But by far the most memorable television moment was the TV premier of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. It was like the world stood still. Ofcourse they don’t have that up there because I guess it wasn’t a show. What do you think?

Martin or Cosby Show
But what’s the moment. See when I read it at first too I was thinking most popular show but their voting on best TV moment like when we found out Ellen was gay stuff like that.
I watched Roots with my kids recently and they were just as in shock as i was when i saw it as a kid. I would def say roots because they got to see it instead of just reading about in history books. It really affected them and opened the door for real talk about slavery…
matter of fact we all need to watch it again…
