Walmart’s Playing Dirty Pool Like Mike Tyson Said in ‘Black & White’, Urges Workers to Vote McCain
not right, i work for u but you don’t own me. how much we get paid again???
Dozens of employees from several states working at the giant chain have come forward to say that at recent meetings of store managers and department supervisors they were urged to vote for John McCain and not Barack because of his stance on labor issues. What do think of this? Does it really stop at the labor issue or is it another attempt by the majority along with a consumer powerhouse to shade Obama’s shine?

I wonder if that was Walmart or the Union. I guess there are no legal issues with it unless expressly written in the company’s bylaws but it is definately unethical. Great pick up Dos!
Man I’m sorry, but I know I ain,t the only brother that is tired of our people always pullin “the man trying to hold us down” bullsh*t. I mean really. Can we please get over that hump. I sure white people don’t sit in some big room trying to figure out how to keep Tyrome under the thumb of the man. Maybe I’m just gettin old but I’m tired of hearing those type of assumptions. I’m sure Walmart as their own agenda but there is no need to throw them under the bus because they are acting in their own best interest.
come on B before u jump off the ledge, could the majority be the wealthy? a very small % controls a very large % of wealth & power. they shouldn’t attempt to persuade people’s votes. i’m sure its some amount of pressure on these workers.
what u fell to realize is u are only assuming they are putting pressure on the workers. U can’t make grand accsations based on assumptions that are not backed up by facts. If it can be proven that they pressuring their workers, Walmart is in alot of financial trouble. But to say that Walmart execes aren’t allowed to voice their own opinion is ass backwards. Who is to say that the comments about supporting McCain were made amoung other supports and could have upset Obama supports.
Which makes me wonder if there would have been an out cry if there was talk mainly focused on supporting Obama?
