New hand drawn animated film featuring Disney’s first black princess

I apologize for not getting this up a while ago. It slipped under my radar. I reported on this film being made way back in the early days of HN and hadn’t heard much since. During that time is seems as though Disney has went back to the drawling board quite a few times in an effort to present something that can be enjoyed by all audiences without being filled with racial stereotypes and to avoid backlash. They even went as far as to change the lead character’s name from “Maddie” to a more acceptable “Tiana”.
