Kanye, Not Timbaland, To Produce Whole Blueprint Album?
Looks like Jigga may actually be looking to make another classic.
We reported sometime ago that there was word that Timbaland was going to produce the entire Blueprint 3 for Jay-Z. It doesn’t appear as though Timbo is going to get his wish as several sites and now reporting that Kanye West will be doing the lion’s share of production on Jigga’s highly anticipated but likely to flop album (don’t get mad at me, you know he’s been droppin’ flops like elbows the last few years). Jocking Jay-Z will likely be the first street single.
Honestly I think having Kanye do a whole album is a much smarter than having Timbaland. Timbaland knows how to make hot singles but Kanye knows how to make albums so hot that every track is a potential single. If Kanye can do for Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 what he did for Common’s Be then maybe it won’t be a flop after all. And maybe if we are lucky, the few tracks that Kanye does not do can be done by Timbaland but the world isn’t that sweet.

UPDATE: I’d like to rephrase what I said. Timbaland can produce a whole album, just not hip hop. He can do wonders with R&B though. Anyway, here’s video of Timba land prepping to place his foot in his mouth…

Time will tell on this one.
I’d have to agree with you on the Timbaland can produce singles for rap. Tim can produce an whole album, but it ends up with a pop flare which is good if you like that music. Someone like Flo-Rida can use Tim, because he is like a pop rap artist. Someone like Jay who tries to keep street cred, or KIR (Keep It Real)may not want to use Tim for a whole album. Tims the man in album production, just not in this realm or genre of music. -Later-
u stupid son
but didn’t tim produce the whole black album, and it was the best.
wellz i think should should let everyone get a chance on this album for the best rapper, so i would remain with kanye, but put swizz pharrell, n timbo n diz, to make every song on the blueprint III a hit single, n on tha radio.
