Anyone who knows anything about Tyra Banks knows that she loves to dress the part so it should come as no surprise that the diva/ supermodel is featured on the September cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine dressed as a bazaro Michelle Obama on the arm of a fake-ass Barack Obama.

The rather presumptuous photo shoot is part of an interview in which Banks describes why she too is riding the bandwagon of the Presidential hopeful.  

“When Barack won the nomination, I just started bawling,” Banks, 34, says in the issue (due to street Aug. 19). So what gives me tears is if Barack Obama wins, kids are going to say that a black man can be president too,” Banks says. “I think it will give so many people — black, Latin, Asian, even white people that feel forgotten — hope. I did not think I would see it in my lifetime, and I’m only 34.”

“With Barack Obama, his becoming president is them becoming president because Michelle was there from the beginning,” Banks continues. “Without Michelle, he wouldn’t be there.”

Sheding some light on her decision to pose as a Michelle Obama body double she said says she’s “one hot mama…With Barack Obama, his becoming president is them becoming president because Michelle was there from the beginning. Without Michelle, he wouldn’t be there.”

Banks goes on to further describe her expectations for the modern day first lady.

“Oh, I want her to not take herself too seriously. She’d need to know how to take a fierce picture, but at the same time be able to eat fried chicken, have grease on her fingers, and be okay with getting photographed like that, too. I’d want her to feel like every child in America is hers – to have a true connection.”
