MARKETING MATTERS: Calvin Klein Ad Feat. Eva Mendes Masturbating Banned

American television networks have decided to ban the new Calvin Klein’s fragrance ad which features the sexy, sultry soft porn actress, Eva Mendes for being too risque. In the latest commercial from the edgy Calvin Klein for the new perfume Secret Obsession, Eva is seen enjoying herself in a private and suggestive moment covered simply by a piece of loose clothing. There also is a slight nipple slippage. Surprisingly Mendes is actually elated that the ad is being pulled.
“I love that my CK Secret Obsession was banned from certain countries,” the 34 year old Latin bombshell says. “That means the ads are totally Calvin, totally provocative and a little controversial.”
“She is being a little sexy, but they are not provocative,” said Fabien Baron, the spot’s creative director. “They are really well done. The spot is really beautiful – I really can’t believe this is happening….I don’t know what else to say.”
Now I’ve been telling your all for a while to check out Eva Mendes in “We Own the Night” starring Joaquin Phoenix. In the opening scene she inexplicably gets it popping in more ways than one. Very sexy if you’re into that sort of thing. But it begs the question, has she been typecast as self serving pleasure popper? Forget the getting banned aside, the fact that she’s TWICE agreed to masturbate on camera is very odd and if anything gives you insight to the type of sexual lifestyle the girl leads. God bless you.

aside from the nipple shot i don’t think its provocative. could be worse. i guess i’m a little desensitized because i did see we own the night.
BEST COMMERCIAL EVER! I would buy that stuff and smash it on the ground just to go buy more. Leave the nipple alone!
is We Own the Night a good movie overall, scenes like this aside, cuz i was thinking about renting it
Good movie…very solid. I don’t know why it wasn’t played up more. Sidenote: One scene was actually shot on my block.
