According to Miss Info, Dipset rapper Cam’Ron has sold fellow Dipset rapper  Juelz Santana’s Diplomat Records contract to Def Jam for $2 Million. Juelz has become an outright Def Jam artist but apparently has also been given a label deal so he can push his Skull Gang Crew movement and artists.Here’s the scoop from Miss Info:

Cam said, “Oh, by the way, I gotta talk to you about something else too. I sold Juelz’ contract to Def Jam for 2 million dollars.”

So I asked Juelz about his separation from his former mentor, and he sent back this interesting email….

A! What’s good !! Yeah, I’m free!! And ready to do me!! But its still Dip Set 4 life!! Its just going to be a new chapter!!  I have no hard feeling for Cam, after all, he did give  me a chance!!! But I will say this I was loyal to him and he took advantage.

I would like to say sorry to all my fans, and the DJs, and most of all, my city, New York. Play time is over. I’m back. Y’all niggas know what time it is. Juelz Santana, Mr. HD, Young Splashy Splash. Well it appears that Cam and Juelz have severed ties amicably (if you want to call it that). The Diplomats Movement is over. Cam no longer eats off Jim Jones since Capo has signed with Sony has his own label, Byrdgang Records, in which he’s own boss and push albums through and the same for Juelz (well he gets to eat 2 Mil off Juelz but no more off his future LP’s).  Furthermore, Freaky Zekey has also joined Jones’ Byrdgang leaving the Cam by his lonesome.
