Anyone who has a blog knows it sometimes becomes difficult to maintain a consistant level of updates. We’ve actually have been experiencing this ourselves here at HN as we try to juggle updating the site and all the other projects we have going on. We are a site with multiple writers who can pick up the slack for each other if needed but most blogs only have one person who keeps the site updated. We actually launched this widget a while back but I feel like many of our readers don’t actually know about it even though it already has 4,186 installs.

All you have to do is hit the “Get Widget” button at the bottom of the widget, copy the code and place it in the side bar of your site. From then on even if you haven’t updated your site, your readers will still see something new. And for those of you who don’t have a blog, it can be added to your MySpace pages (Facebook people we have an alternative for you too ).
