Dr. Dre’s Headphones Hit Stores THIS FRIDAY
They’ll run you a pretty penny but according to Dre if you’re nice with it, they’re worth it.
Dr. Dre, Monster and all the record label geeks with their hands in Dre’s pockets have FINALLY announced a date for the release of those Beats by Dr. Dre high end headphones that he unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show last year and Jermaine Dupri showed off a couple weeks ago. According to the music blog scooping everyone now a days, Baller Status, those headphones will officially street this Friday and can be copped for $349.95 (YIKES!) at your local Best Buy or Apple Store. Yikes! Here’s Dre:
“Artists and producers work hard in the studio perfecting their sound, but people can’t really hear it with normal headphones. Most headphones can’t handle the bass, the detail, the dynamics. Bottom line: the music doesn’t move you. With Beats, people are going to hear what the artists hear and listen to the music the way they should — the way I do.”
