Earlier this month, my boy 4pL brought you the news about Nas’s new partnership with Fila.  Well the Queensbridge, NY native wasted no time getting started and is featured in this new ad layout for what appears to be some retro re-editions.  I’m not the kicks expert so I’ll have to consult with Lexicon367 and get back to you on that.

Naturally the kicks are real weak.  What would you expect from Fila?  For years I’ve emplored hip hop artists to get in bed with corporate America but now they’re not just in bed they’re turning tricks, spreading cheaks and tossing salads.  These artist seem to be whoring themselves right and left now adays with the endorsements.  As a marketing professional I can’t be mad at all, get that money as long as you’re within the framework of your image.  Remember Fabolous wearing Reebok 5411 high tops?
