MARKETING MATTERS: British Beauty, Jourdan Dunn Stars in New Topshop Ad Campaign
Making moves in high fashion
One of fashion’s hottest black models, Jourdan Dunn is kicking off her latest ad campaign “Topshop on the move” as spokesmodel for English outfitter’s fall ‘09 line. The 19-year-old British beauty will be seen on buses and trains throughout England. She has already been featured in campaigns for Carolina Herrera, Christian Dior, and Chanel, and has been the face of Gap and Benetton.
“We wanted the campaign to have a very London vibe, sticking to Topshop’s roots. And Topshop girls are movers and shakers - super-stylish, cool girls,” Ronnie Cooke-Newhouse, Topshop’s creative director said. “Jourdan is so lovely. An angel, she is very focused and professional - she’s really got it.”
