Now Ciara looks REALLY Silly after Steve & Barry’s Files For Bankruptcy
The deal she boasted about just a few weeks ago now leaves her with egg on her face.
A couple of weeks ago I discussed the negative impact that Ciara’s partnership with mall fashion discount chain, Steve and Barry’s would have on her image and more specifically her brand new modeling contract with Wihelmina. Well after Steve and Barry’s filed for bankruptcy over the weekend, it has only added more credence to my argument.
Obviously Ciara isn’t the only celebrity that has partnered with the franchise and will be effected by the projected 275 store closings and more than 17,000 layoffs.  Its rather embarrassing though. Here it is you make a big deal about signing a new deal that’s going to take your personal brand to new heights and less than a month later the chain goes under? It makes you and your cockamamie team look like you didn’t do your homework which begs the question…. DID YOU?!

Apparently your S T U P I D A S S didn’t do your research. The information that was release to the public clearly said she was in talks with them. There was nothing finalized in writting. What is it about everyone that doesn’t like to read. Go back and read the original story and you’ll understand why her ANNOUNCEMENT…yes announcement which was made was tarnished by the bankruptcy filing. I’m not hating. I like Ciara…its her PEOPLE that are at fault as I said before. One of the things I ask from the Nation is that you read…not assume.
