BEHIND THE STICKS: The Next Generation of DJing
2 new innovative turntable products
Sorry Nation for the quiet weekend from your boy. Here’s something I saw over at one of my favorite blogs for producers, D.J.’s and gearheads alike, Crate Kings. This one’s for the D.J.’s. They don’t call me Skee Stylus for nothing. It’s the new Finger Player, a wearable stylus that makes the users finger a human tonearm. If you’ve got the finger strength the posibilities are endless on some real gimmick ish.
This next one is from inventor Thierry Alari. Its called the Scratchophone, a portable all-in-one scratch instrument which allows DJ’s to spin on the run as easily as you use your iPod. It may not look all that cool and probably resembles and an Afrcian hand drum. For more information peep the Scratchophone website. Here’s the legendary, Grand Wizard Theodore and DJ Fade Wizard performing with the Scratchophone.
