Sheryl Underwood Elected President Of Zeta Phi Beta
Congrats soror!
As a member of the illustrious Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated. I would be remissed if I didn’t congratulate my soror, Comedian Sheryl Underwood who was name 23rd International President of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated at last week’s bi-annual boulé in Las Vegas on June 27; The appointment makes Underwood the first professional entertainer to hold the highest elected office of a historically black National Pan-Hellenic organization.
“I am honored that my beloved sisterhood elected me as their 23rd International President”, said Underwood. “Through my New Beginnings for Every Generation’s plan of action, members of Zeta will enter into a new era of public service by strengthening our sisterhood, building on our Sorority’s national service initiative Z-HOPE: Zetas Helping Other People to Excel and preparing the next generation of service leaders.
Underwood who first “joined” the organization in 1990, most recently served as National Executive Board Chairwoman. It is not believed that her new position will affect her role as on-air personality with the Tom Joyner Morning Show. Congratulations… BLU PHI!

First let me say that that cleavage is disgusting. But isn’t she a rather vulgar comedian? Maybe she has cleaned up her act in recnt years but the Shyrl I remember wouldnt have the public image that I’d expect to see as the face of such an organization.
she’s silly as hell, big ups
Its all in the name of entertainment. I would say she’s not the most attractive (beauty is relative) hence no honey’s box for her but she actually has helped the org make tremendous strides.
Congrats to you sister Underwood!!
I think that through her fame and celebrity status, she should be applauded for still being actually being involved with her org. I mean sure we have many famous black greeks but how many still go to a meeting, hold a national position, or takes time out to visit undergrad chapters for their regionals, anything outside of just throwing up a sign after a tackle, touchdown, or dunk or calls themselves a dedicated member b/c they donated some money from time to time !!!
So in this i say congrats to you Soror and i hope that you are a positive figure among our other famous black greek!!
