Who has the Better Joke?
With The Dark Knight on the horizon, that leads to the question Who had the better Joker?
Batman has always been one of my favorites. Not because of the Dark Knight or his love for children, but because of his villians. Two Face and Joker, when portrayed right, are two of the illest villians ever.
The Joker has been portrayed by many but has only been portrayed perfectly once according to comic legend Jeph Loeb, Batman: The Animated Series is the only time Joker was portrayed perfectly with an equal balance of comedy and evilness. What would you say, is it one of the Toon Jokers, or Jack Nicholas, or how about the comic book? It may be the late Heath Ledger, who was said to of gotten to deep into the role. Personally I like the animated one from Batman: The Animated Series. Especially from the Batman Beyond Movie where they flashed back to that one’s death. He was a great mix of comedy and evil, I thought he could be a little more evil though, but it was a children’s toon….oh well.
Yup, I like Mark Hamill’s Joker(The Animated Series) the best, but out of the movies, you can’t beat Jack. Heath might be in a better movie but for right now I’ll go with Jack.
I gotta see how Heath plays Joker before I can make a choice
by far its jack….when he pulled that 357 super long(pause)
out of his pants!!!!lol!! no homo!!!!
In the comics Joker doesn’t have a real personality and every writer portrays him different so it leaves a lot of room for the TV shows and movies to create their own vision of the character. The animated series Joker is seen as the overall best as it combines the “psycho” with the “clown” in a very convincing way. In the movies Jack has it…so far. Early reviews of Dark Knight are saying Heath Ledger’s version tops all others.
