Wu Chess Coming To New York City For 9 Queens Knockout Invitational
Held at Chelsea Art Museum on July 5th
I’ve been rather intrigued by this whole Rza/ Wu Chess phenomenon. Over the last month he’s been on tour promoting his Bobby Digital, DigiSnax project and bigging up WuChess.com but now apparently the tour bus will make a stop in his hometown of New York City on July 5th. Although the details on his blog are sketchy it appears the event is in conjunction with 9 Queens, A new york area non-for-profit geared towards youth empowerment through the game of chess for girls and other at-risk youth. The 9 Queens Knockout Invitational will be held at the Chelsea Art Museum in Manhattan and Rza is scheduled to attend. I might have to check this out and see Rza get his ass whipped by a seven year old.
