Jill Scott Announces Her Engagement

Posted by Juan

Introduces the crowd to her fiance, the drummer, during a performance in New York

Jill Scott

Sorry Dos Un… Looks like the thick diva, Jill Scott will be heading down the isle.  During a recent performance at New York’s Carnegie Hall, Scott apparently announced her engagement to her drummer, Jon Roberts.

According to ParlourMagazine.com, at the end of her performance Roberts greeted Scott on stage with flowers and a kiss.  Explaining the interaction, Scott went on to introduce the crowd to her fiance which was met with a roaring applause. Afterward, she gave the audience another encore.

Fans might recall that this will be Scott’s second nuptual exchange.  She was previously married for five years to Lyzel Williams, a DJ and the inspiration for many of her early works.
