Dissecting An Album Cover: Hell Rell’s Black Mask, Black Gloves
Can someone break down to me the meaning of ths cover?
I’ve been seeing some very suspect album covers lately and I figured maybe we can make a game out of it. I’ll post some new and suspect looking album art and you guys can tell me what is the message trying to be conveyed by the artist. First up we have the rapper with the best face for radio, Hell Rell and the cover of his latest album Black Mask, Black Gloves. So whats the message here? My Guess would be that Hell Rell is so high class that he performs bank robberies in expensive suits and is so unworried about getting caught that he only puts gloves on after he has committed the crime?

He was high one night watching Jim Carey’s “The Mask” and decided to flip it a little bit. In his case he doesn’t physically need put another mask over his face because his grill already looks and has the texture of the mask used in the movie.
