Former heavyweight boxer, Mitch Rose is planning to sue Jay-Z for $88 million claiming Hov bit his rap style. According to Allhiphop.com, Rose, whose most famous for knocking out gimmick boxer, Eric “Butterbean” Esch back in the day says he gave Hov his demo tape on March 12, 2001 while the two were spectators at the Joppy vs. Trinidad fight. According to Rose, he claims Jay-Z switched his style to sound more like him and even stole some direct lyrics?

“He took the style and the delivery,” Rose said in an interview with AllHipHop.com. “He’s using it on the regular; now Lil’ Kim is using it. All I want is justice. Jay-Z knows what I am talking about.”

I’ma tell you why this guy has no credibility. First off he’s a heavyweight boxer who had a professional career record of 2-11-1 and was knocked out 4 times. Throughout his career his brain took a serious pounding. Most heavyweight boxers can barely speak, this dude has use of all his faculties. He got himself together and has even become a personal injury lawyer but clearly is mistaken about Jay. Hell he probably never even met the cat. If he WAS in the arena that day he probably bought a ticket.

Secondly he alledges getting into a street fight with Mike Tyson outside the Sugar Hill Club in New York City, a fight spectators say never happened, a fight that sparked Rose to write a book called “Mike Tyson Tried To Kill My Daddy.” Huh?!
