Amerie Signs With Def Jam

I’m hoping this means we will be seeing her and her legs a lot more often.

British tabloid Daily Star is reporting that Amerie has signed with Def Jam.

It’s funny I was just recently talking to someone the other day about how Amerie never blew up like most people expected her too. Anyone’s guess is as good as mine but I always thought that her look was maybe a bit too exotic and her voice, though unique, wasn’t as refined as other big female R&B singers. Don’t get me wrong though, I think she’s the most banging female in the music game. I’d take her over a Rihanna or a Beyonce any day.

Hopefully her signing with Def Jam will see her having success more akin to Rihanna’s and nothing like what’s been happening to Janet.

We’ll see. Enough talk though. Let us all take a minute out and just focus on that Amerie photo above… Dayum, she’s fine.
