Guess Who’s Bizack!
I have returned from my desert exile.
Well I’m back ya’ll. After 25 days in the Mojave Desert I have returned to Highbrid Nation. Instead of boring you all with stories of me off roadiing Hummers up to the top of mountains and killing coyotes with my bare hands, I’d rather talk about how the site performed while I was gone and where we are going from here (though I may have to tell you guys at a later date about me running into Bria Miles in the Chicago airport).
I’d like to first commend the staff of HN for holding it down while I was gone. Juan took over for the past 25 days and has done a good job of making sure the site still delivered all the info that our readers enjoy. Also I’d like to thank William Karboso for stepping up and helping keep the site updated. And of course the the rest of the guys who have been doing their things as usual. Sometimes I wish I could better explain everything that goes into running a site like Highbrid Nation. At any given time we have between 5 and 9 bloggers that are located in both Pittsburgh and New York City. All of them with different skill levels when it comes to blogging. Imagine trying to get all those people on the same page! It gets really hectic at times as everyone doesn’t always share the same vision for what the site is or where the site should be headed. Looks like in all that chaos we are doing something right though as people seem to like visiting us just as much as we enjoy them visiting.
So what does the future hold? I got a few secret projects that we are currently working on that I can’t really talk too much about yet but other than that, I just want HN to keep doing everything it is doing well but do it better. More updates (especially on weekends), more opinion and more stuff you just won’t find on any other urban blog.
Thank you Nation readers. Part of the reason the site still chugged along while I was gone was because we have such great readers who add to the coversation here on the site. So please continue to walk with us as we slowly evolve into the best urban blog…ever.
