MARKETING MATTERS: Pharrell & his Group of N.E.R.D.S. Team Up With Converse
Partnership for kicks
N.E.R.D. has teamed up with Santogold and Julian Casablancas to colabo on a record for Converse to support its new Century celebration. The track entitled “My Drive Thru,” will be distributed digitally today for free on converse.com. I only wear and support the things that I like,” Pharrell Williams said. “The Chuck Taylor is the golden goose egg.”
The artists also filmed a music video that will drop sometime this summer. Look for the song to be part of Converse integrated advertising initiative across their print, outdoor and online campaign tagged “Three Artists, One Song.”
Song’s different…some rock/ rap fusion/ Ska music, very artsy fartsy.
