MARKETING MATTERS: Live Nation’s Global Search Platform Now Facebook Integrated

Posted by Juan

Live Nation & Facebook’s plans to monopolize their respective industries connect with strategic partnership

Live Nation

LiveNation.com, the online destination for the concert juggernaut today announced their new little Facebook application that allows users to use My Live Nation’s global concert search engine right from their Facebook profile and purchase tickets on demand.   By integrating with Facebook, Live Nation is taking concert information and their online ticket box office directly to younger music fans where they tend to congregate most on the web.

Facebook has made no druthers about the fact that they’re trying to take over the world and allow you to do everything from order a pizza to organize a family vacation without ever feeling the urge to want to log off of the social network.

The app is a logical next step for the My Live Nation suite which in and of it self is an involved online community for concert fans.  Users are able to  customize their search pages to receive a personalized tour dates and updates for their favorite artist as well as sync their music library with their My Live Nation account automatically.
