Bush’s Press Secratary, Scott McClellan Drops Dime On His Lying About War, Katrina

Posted by Juan

McClellan’s new memoir says Bush relied on “Political Propagana Campaign” instead of governing to sell the Iraq War.

Scott McClellan

Former White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan writes in a new memoir, “What Happened: Inside the Bush White House and Washington’s Culture of Deception.” that President Bush relied on an aggressive “political propaganda campaign” instead of the truth to sell the Iraq war.

The Bush White House made “a decision to turn away from candor and honesty when those qualities were most needed” McClellan writes in the book. The way Bush managed the campaign for war in Iraq “almost guaranteed that the use of force would become the only feasible option,” the book contends according to advanced copies obtained by The New York Times.

Its one thing to hear this and say well I’m not surprised but think about all the lives that were lost over there in Iraq because of some propaganda wet dream.  Shoot…Highbrid Nation’s own Michael Belgrove spent a year and a half tour of duty
in Iraq and is currently training in the desert for what?

Check out the analysis from Keith Olbermann.  This isn’t anything we didn’t believe was going on but for this to come from the President’s most trusted Press advisor?!  That’s huge!  The implications he’s discussing in this book are criminal.

  1. Yes. And is Bush scared or worried? Not at all.
I feel like telling dude: Thanks for letting us know. Too bad Bush can’t go to jail for War Crimes.

  2. Yeah Bush might have told him to write it. Adds to his aura as a dictator.

If McClellen is going to spill something, why doesn’t he tell us something that we don’t know? This is not new or surprising. And he looks scared as hell!
