Contract Negotiations Put “The Simpsons” in Jeopardy
Doh!
Contract Negotiations for arguably the greatest television series of all time have hit a roadblock. Although fox has renewed its deal with The Simpsons creators for their 20th (That’s right folks it’s been twenty years) season, negotiations with the stars of the show have stalled.
Dan Castellaneta, Julie Kavner, Hank Azaria, Yeardley Smith, Nancy Cartwright and Harry Shearer are all part of the cast of characters that make up the hit show,and are currently being paid $360k an episode are holding out for $500k and episode. Production has been delayed for months b/c of these negotiations, and people at the studio are beginning to feel antsy. Stay tuned we’ll keep you updated on developments.
