Back in March I told you about the John Singleton directed A-Team flick scheduled to pop off next summer. At the time rumors were swirling that Ice Cube had been offered the part of “B.A.” Baracas but now apparently it has been decided that Tyrese Gibson will play Mr. T’s character although the deal is not yet finalized. Tyrese? What terrible casting! Like I said before, I still think Ving Rahmes not only has the look but can pull of the part acting and personality wise.

Is it me or is Tyrese to thin and two ummmmm…SOFT to play BA. The reports did say he plans to hit the weight room hard to prepare for the role. I just think Black Ty is a mediocre actor at best. According to Chud.com Tyrese said he wouldn’t rule out sporting Mr. T’s trademark mohawk but wants to make the character more of a new school updates so don’t expect gold rope chains around his neck think more Jesus piece.

Will John Singleton get a hold of this movie. I was dumb hype when I first reported this now I think I might even pass on the movie. We’ll see.
