Michael Moore In Production of Fahrenheit 9/11 Follow Up
Slated for Spring ’09 Release said to be “searing and provocative”
Political Filmmaker Michael Moore announced he is working on a sequel to his documentary “Fahrenheit 9/11,” which was highly critical and influential in exposing President George W. Bush and his decision to go to war with Iraq.
The new flick scheduled which is yet to be titled will be released after the presidential election hoopla and is slated for spring 2009. Danny Rosett, the chief operating officer of Overture and producer of the film said that Moore did not want the film to be seen as a “politically motivated piece. That’s why I think he felt strongly about not having it come out before the elections,” he told Reuters.
I’m not really sure I understand that statement. Isn’t Michael Moore’s entire shtick political motivation? I mean I can understand saying you don’t want to INTERFERE with a Democratic run as a stark liberal but don’t use that excuse.  Â
