Notorious B.I.G. Wrongful-Death Lawsuit Reinstated by Federal Judge
Yet another twist in Mrs. Wallace’s pursuit for justice.

The wrongful-death lawsuit filed on behalf of the family of Notorious B.I.G. was reinstated Friday by U.S. District Judge Florence-Marie Cooper. The suit was initially dismissed March 21 after the family missed the statute of limitation for bringing a claim against the city and two former police officers.
Cooper’s recent ruling involves the second of two lawsuits filed by the Biggie fam against the city which contends that dirty police officers killed B.I.G. and that the Police Department covered up their wrongdoing.
This case is a mess and really hard to follow for the layman. There are two lawsuits filed on behalf of the Wallace fam against the city, police and the officers believed to be behind B.I.G.’s murder. These charges include civil rights violations. I hope dearly that one day Mrs. Wallace sees some sort of justice some day…i’ll pray for it. We miss you BIG.
