Unkut.com Goes Digging in the Crates with Some Raw Cuts for Hip Hop’s Immortals
For full nostalgia, its best to play in a boombox like this, but your computer speakers will do.
What up Nation! I’ve gotta send a strong shout to the folks at unkut.com because all this week they’ve been publishing their “It’s A Demo” series featuring rough cuts from some Hip Hop Legend’s demo tapes, B Sides and white labels. Talk about digging in the crates. My personal favorite by far is Biggie Smalls “Another Rough One” off B.I.G.’s 1992 “Unsigned Hype” demo tape with 50 Grand and Mister Cee. I strongly recommend checking it out but you might want to take a step back from your computer monitor because the head nod action could be hazardous.
