T.I.’s Feeling Himself So Much He Moved His Album ‘Paper Trail’ Up
Originally scheduled for a September release, the project will now street August 12.
Billboard is reporting that the release of T.I’s new album”Paper Trail” has been MOVED UP to August 12.  The album was originally scheduled for September.
“Once we put out “No Matter What,” we got so much positive response that we moved up the date,” T.I. told Billboard. That’s interesting T.I. because we posted “No Matter What” on Highbrid Nation and I don’t know what T.I. was referring to because it got no comments at all.  The single is currently available at Atlantic Records Media Store.
Although not official T.I. did hint that “Top of the World” featuring rapper BOB and Kanye West may be the first official single. “It’s a reflective song about our humble beginnings and how far we’ve come,” says T.I. I’m a little confused cause if he’s still selecting a first single…what was “No Matter What?” Who knows…these rappers have been loosing their mind these days.
T.I. will be chopping it up tonight at 7:30 PM EDT on a BET News special, “T.I. Speaks,” where he addresses among other things his conviction on federal gun charges. The interview airs at 7:30 pm eastern. I’m sure my man Urban Thought’s got that one on TiVo.

On boxden, and many hip hop forums there has been MAJOR praise for ‘no matter what’ THAT is the positive reaction T.I is talking about. allhiphop.com forum had a huge thread on it and everyone loved it.
Maybe you’re right but we’re way cooler than those sites. PLUS…we don’t give anyone a pass or ride anyone’s cock. Real emcees need not apply. Listen to the song again and think, “Have I been brainwashed to believe that something hot…is really…not?!”
It’s a grower not a shower. You listen to it long enough and you start to say “OK I’m starting to like it. It’s growing on me.” Not straight out the gate hot but if you hear it in the club then you start to move with it while that lady from across the room starts grinding on you while it plays then you’re like yeah… thats a banger. You know you are really talking about her but then you realize oh… the song associated with her is hot. Now the song has a leg to stand on.

Don’t know where you been but that song is heating up the net. Just becasue people didn’t comment on it here doesn’t mean anything. Also, it was sort of a taste of his album to come. Before he released it he said it wouldn’t be the first “single” from the album. Its also been posted on his website for about a week and a half now that the release date of Paper Trail is 8/12/08. I’m personally looking forward to it. No Matter What is one of those songs that has to grow on you. After a couple listens I was hooked.
Did you ever think that perhaps we should want more from our music huh? I go to a restaurant…I don’t want my food to GROW ON ME. I want it to taste good. IF you ask me the reason why music grows on a person is because they’ve been told by friends, family BLOGS and more importantly Radio and D.J.’s that its hot. If you buy into that philosophy you’ve been had. They’ve got you hooked like a mindless sheep.
