Philly Police Caught On Tape Kicking, Beating Black Suspects During Traffic Stop

Posted by Juan

Sean Bell Victory Party?! Sheesh!

Something tells me the Nation will be ablaze about this one. At first look this appears to be footage from a Sean Bell Acquittal Victory Party or A KKK rally. Actually the video, which comes courtesy of WTXF-TV. It shows three police cars stopping a car Monday, two days after a Philadelphia city officer was shot to death during a botched bank robbery. As you’ll see a half-dozen police officers kicked and beat three men pulled from a car during a traffic stop as a News helicopter caught the incident on tape.

In addition to being held to the ground, both men are kicked repeatedly, while one is seen being punched and is struck with what appears to be a baton. The officers were responding to a report of a shooting nearby, police said. So what does Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey say?:

Philadelphia officers have been on edge since Saturday, when Officer Stephen Liczbinski was fatally shot with an assault rifle after a robbery. “On the surface it certainly does not look good in terms of the amount of force that was used. But we don’t want to rush to judgment.”

So I won’t rush to judgment…I’ll let the NATION do that. SPEAK UP!

It’s like Rodney King times three, minus the PCP.

The LAPD gets a bad wrap but Philly’s probably deserves one even more so. These guys are always out of line.

Yeah Don’t forget about Mumia Abu Jamal.

I am at a loss as to how this can go on all the time and yet there is not a deafening cry of moral outrage. This is not a one-off situation it is happening all over the country, in fact it never stopped happening. I was living in LA when the Rodney King rioting went down. What will it take to put an end to this behavior?

They haven’t beat up on the wrong person yet. That’s all it is. Rodney King was on PCP. He was “acting funny” when they pulled him over.

These three dudes were so-called connected to a crime or have a criminal past. So they are tainted in the eyes of the media.

Sean Bell had a criminal past as well so you know once a criminal always a criminal.

It will take some celeb or politicians son who happens to have no record, owns a few business, is connected to the community or knows someone high up who happens to be at the wrong place at the wrong time and finds himself being hit over the head by a policeman’s gun or night stick for any change to occur. Oh, and it will have to be caught on film with close ups and finger prints and hit the blogosphere and every news outlet in order for it to matter and a real change to be made.

I’m speaking on how they see people. If you have a criminal past then you are forever labeled as such regardless to the last time you’ve done a crime or what good you’ve done sense. It could have been something you’ve done in your childhood… They’ll pull it out of the past and you’ll be labeled as bad.

Exactly almost as if your resume showed up on their dashboard so they could review it prior to beating the sh*t out of you. Criminal past or no criminal past, that was a gang mele. You see how many cops came? From every direction.

According to what I hear this was after a car chase, and if you think about it why would so may cars stop them for a routine car stop?????

Read the story Ruthlessnyc. NYPD and Philly PD don’t have a good track record when it comes to kicking ass.

On edge, yeah all the fresh rookies nutter just let loose he means. An they just caught Eric Floyd.

RUTHLESSNYC, come on now fam, they obviously had the three guys under control(no matter how big Brian Hall is, cause the dude kicking him in the head was just about his size). So how do you justify just beating the crap out of a man down & dragging dude? To avenge a fellow officer? RAMSEY even said that shit wasnt called for. FUKk all those scared rookies. Philly cops have always been gamblers…remember 2000?

They’re the reason why the radical MOVE organization is so big and dangerous.
