DC Sniper Petitions Prosecutors To Help Halt His ‘Unauthorized’ Death Row Appeal

Pleas for the appeals to stop ”so that you can murder this innocent black man”

D.C. Sniper

D.C. sniper John Allen Muhammad (the older and crazy dude) has issued a bizarre written plea to prosecutors to help him end his legal appeals of his death sentence. Tuesday, the Associate Press published the two-page letter dated April 23 in which Muhammad says he has unsuccessful attempted to stop his defense attorneys from pursuing the appellate processes and is petitioning the state attorney general to assist him. ”

Muhammad told the prosecutors’ office that he is waiving all rights to appeal his 2003 conviction and death sentence for the sniper killings.

“I’ve written to you all because I know you will make sure this letter will get to the right people – so that you can murder this innocent black man,” Muhammad pens. In very bizzare letter Muhammad writes in the margin, “Muhammad innocent and on death row.”

In the recent “unauthorized” appeal his lawyers claim that brain damage may render Muhammad incompetent to make legal decisions. Consequently they argue he should never have been allowed to represent himself in his self-destructive Virginia and Maryland trials.

  1. kev says:

“innocent”? homey you murdered like a dozen people. if i was you i would choose death… life in prison, what kind of life is that? either way this was a pointless act of violence.

  2. Is this some sort of reverse psychology? “Hurry up and kill this innocent man”

  3. I think he needs some psychology but I’m not sure if its reverse, forward, drive or neutral.
