Like the article said…he’s only got 3 more albums but his marketability is endless. Jay is now synonymous with Hip Hop as far as white corporate executives are concerned. He sells product and even though he’s getting older…he’s always been older than his target. Never stopped him before.

Honestly I can’t see Hov rapping for 10 MORE years, but I can see him having his hand in a lot of quality acts like he had a Def Jam (Ne-Yo, The Dream, etc). More power to him on that deal tho.

I think Live Nation made a bad deal here with Jay-Z and also Madonna. They obviously were going after established stars but I think they have ended up with two stars who are a bit over the hill. I have no doubt Jigga will be making headlines for at least a couple more years but I think its already downhill for that guy. He’s 40 now, I don’t see him being a big player at 50.
