BREAKING NEWS: D.C. Madam Hangs Herself in Shed at Her Fla. Home

Posted by Juan

The end of a very bizzare story

Deborah Jeane Palfrey

The Washington Post is reporting that Deborah Jeane Palfrey, better known as the D.C.  madam  who was convicted last month of running a high-end prostitution service in Washington, hanged herself in her shed outside her mother’s mobile home in Florida.

FROM WASHINGTON POST:

Authorities were called to the Sun Valley Estates Mobile Home Park in Tarpon Springs, Fla., by 76-year-old Blanche Palfrey, who found her daughter’s body hanging by a nylon rope shortly before 11 a.m., Tarpon Springs police Capt. Jeffrey P. Young said at a news conference. He said Deborah Palfrey left at least two suicide notes, but he declined to discuss their contents.

Blanche Palfrey awoke from a nap and began to search for her daughter, according to the police account. She went outside and noticed that a tricycle normally kept in the shed beside the mobile home had been moved. She went inside and discovered her daughter hanging by a nylon rope from a metal beam on the ceiling of the shed.

Palfrey was free on bond while awaiting her June 25 sentence on federal racketeering charges. She was bagged for running a call-girl ring that was fronted as “a high-end erotic fantasy service.” Her criminal defense was that she was oblivious for 13 years her employees were getting it popping for loot.

Very sad story…imagine being the mother walking into the shed.  Suicide hits very close to home with me and brings back awful memories.  I know the pain must have been deep.

i wonder if that has any connection to the spitzer incident…she looks pretty decent above ^

And I’d be willing to bet that the body wasn’t cold before the busy bees in the world of conspiracy theories had started the idea that she was killed (to prevent her from naming big name clients)

Give it time, I’m sure they will come up with some strained logic (the knots were tied counter-clockwise or there was some “secret” visitor.

You watch, I know about these things :(

    • Yeah they made mention to “no evidence of foul play” in the news report. I thought to myself duh she hung herself but even in making that statement they’re assuming the question. So what do you think…she was killed? Mafia style huh?
