Big Tigger To Address HIV/AIDS Epidemic With 7th Annual All-Star Classic

Radio personality is reaching out to help curtail HIV/AIDS epidemic

Radio personality turned BET’s “The Basement” host turned radio personality again, Big Tigger will host his 7th Annual Celebrity Classic June 4-7.Â This year he’s organized a youth initiative surrounding the event to educate the youth about the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Everyone’s favorite “cousin” will host a Town Hall Meeting, Celebrity Panel Discussion, a comedy showcase and several HIV/AIDS testing kiosks in addition to the central All-Star Basketball game.

Salute…with so much going on around us from the environment, to soaring gas prices to the bees dying its important for us to remember that HIV/ AIDS still remains the #1 epidemic effecting our communities.Â To an extent, health professionals have done such a great job of educating people about the disease that the message has somewhat become desensitizing.Â Although I’ve never been a huge Big Tigger fan, dating back to his weekend fill-in days at WPGC in Washington, D.C. but you gotta big up the effort.Â We need to remember that HIV/ AIDS is REAL and all around us and still KILLING.Â Lets not forget…WRAP IT UP…TIGHT! Â Â
