If you play video games then you know about Grand Theft Auto IV. You may even already own the game and are only stopping by Highbrid Nation in your trip around the net looking for GTA IV cheats and GTA 4 codes. You may have waited in line for a midnight launch just to grab your GTA 4 Special Edition. You might be playing it right now, slumped on your couch with a controller and a half melted container of Ben and Jerry’s ice cream. For the the rest of us this is all just a bunch of “GTA this and Grand Theft Auto that”.

Gamer or not you got to respect what the makers of Grand Theft Auto IV have created. Not only is the game getting rave reviews all around the net, it’s caking out of control! The game did unprecedented sales numbers before it even launched via pre-sales thanks to a crazy buzz and innovative marketing (you are probably seeing ads for the game right now on our site).

So what’s the big deal? What’s all the hoopla about? To sum it up, Great gameplay and controversial subject matter. The subject matter of the GTA has always been a major point of concern since some of the biggest fans of the game are minors. Besides shooting people and hitting them with cars there are things in the game that are just borderline disturbing. Such as the fact that in most games if you you want to regain health points you drink in potion, in GTA you pick up a hooker, find an alley and have sex with her. Those type of things make young boys love the game and parents loathe it.

As for the gameplay, I can’t speak on it yet because I haven’t played it but I do plan to soon. However I’m interested in hearing from you guys. What are your thoughts on the GTA series? Great Artistic games or just sex and violence marketed to kids.
