Sean P-Diddy Combs, Kevin Bacon, Lindsay Price, and Matt Lauer are taking part in the new NYC Tourism campaign titled: “Ask the Locals”. The campaign will consist of print ads and television spots where the NY celebs will talk about their favorite places to eat, shop, and be entertained in NYC.

This is NYC were talking about… Kevin Bacon, Matt Lauer thats the best you can do. There’s a laundry list of famous New Yorkers that could have featured in this campaign.

I think they tried to bring forth a diverse group of people. They range from TV personalities to fashion industry folks. They also include people who have started businesses in NYC (such as chefs and web properties). Not to mention leaders of cultural institutions such as the MET and the Apollo.

Here are just a few of the names I came across:

Dany Levy
Eric Ripert
Mr. Mickey
Ivanka Trump
Debbie Harry
Jimmy Fallon
Tim Gunn
Cynthia Rowley
Coltrane Curtis
Alan Cumming
Lindsay Price
Simmon Doonan
Peter Gelb
Jonelle Procope
Le Bernardin
Marcus Samuelsson
Jahn Scott
Neil deGrasse Tyson
