Suspected Accomplice in Jam Master Jay Murder gets 17 Years
Ronald Washington sentenced to 17 years for unrelated robberies
Ronald Washington, a suspected accomplice in the 2002 Jam Master Jay murder was sentenced to 17 years in prison Wednesday for committing multiple but unrelated robberies after the legendary DJ’s death.
Although, Washington was never charged, he was considered a witness and according to Federal prosecutors, he also brandished a gun and made people in the studio stay on the floor while the still yet unidentified gunman shot Jay, whose real name was Jason Mizell.
Although Washington, 40, has denied any involvement, prosecutors asked a judge to consider it in Washington’s sentencing. JMJ’s case still remains unsolved.

Kind of similar to the Biggie murder. One of the suspects is doing life for an unconnected bank robbery. And he was LAPD.
