Lamar Odom Cultivates Rich Soil
Lakers Foward Launches his Record label with his marquis artist, Ali Vegas
Los Angeles Lakers forward Lamar Odom has announced the launch of Rich Soil Entertainment, his new record label. His flagship artist of course will be his childhood friend Ali Vegas whose debut album “Generation Gap 2: The Prequel” is currently slated for an August release and features Akon and Styles P. with producers DJ Premier, Scott Storch, Cool & Dre, and Midi Mafia on the sticks. Rich Soil is made possible through a partnership with Asylum Records. Vegas, if you remember featured was on the The Blaze Battle freestyle and was upset in the first round by Eyedea.

People need to just give up on starting labels and artists need to just learn more creative ways to make money from music. Its one thing to already have a label that you are trying to adjust to the changing market place and then its totally different to jump in a sinking boat.

Yo Ali’s single, “That’s Nothing” is hot! Scott Storch did an ill job on the production too! My boy saw the video and said it was sick too. I’ve been hearing the song play on Power 105 in NY too. I can’t wait for the album to drop in August. Keep repping for Queens!
