During David Letterman Appearence Brett Farve Reveals He’s Madden NFL 09’s Cover Boy
How can he be cursed if he doesn’t play?
Depending on the day and who you believe, Green Bay’s poster child, Brett Farve may or may not be officially retired. Last night he was on The Late Show with David Letterman. At the end of his interview, it was revealed that Farve will be on the cover of Madden NFL 09.
This is a major development! Electronic Arts not only had a white dude on the cover but may have found a way to break the famed “Madden Curse†which has plagued virtually cover player dating back to 98. If the player retires how can he flop? Maybe they should have put Megan Fox on the cover? Where’s my Economic Stimulus Tax Rebate Check?…I need to pre-order my copy. Peep the the interview.

So is he not really retired? I thought it was indeed official. I assumed they were putting a retired player on the cover to celebrate the 20th aniversary of Madden games.
He is but he’s claiming there’s a chance he could come back…similar to what they do with the college game. Only departed players can grace the cover due to NCAA Rules. Make only retired players eligible.
he’s a beats, i wouldn’t be surprised if he came back
Bridging off that wouldn’t it be hot if they put SEAN TAYLOR on the cover. That would have been dope and donated like some of the sales to his foundation. I guess that’s why we have the marketing minds.
I got the cover on my site if ya’ll wanna see it.
