Today it was announced all over Sports Center that Josh Howard admitted in a recent interview that he smokes weed in the offseason.  Now everyone wants to crucify the kid and judge him cause he just wanted to tell the truth.  1st of all its the off season, 2nd of all he’s a pretty good forward in the league, an all-star to be exact so who really cares?  NBA teams pay these guys mega cake but they do not own them.  Now if they made certain restrictions and tests (something that will definitely happen now) I’m sure he’d follow protocol.  To say that its because he smokes if he has series of bad games is ridiculous though.  They even thought about some type of punishment.  What’s next, have sex when we tell you to?

Now he  should have just kept his mouth shut but he did what he did.  The only I didn’t agree with was that he mentioned alot of players in the league do it.  We already know this but don’t bring the heat to anyone else.  Stay individual.  I see nothing wrong with it but maybe I’m biased.  The funny thing will be to see what the mighty David Stern and the NBA does after the fact.
