O.J. Simpson to Appear on the Apprentice?! Talk about ‘Killer’ Ratings.
Hall of Fame Running back Petitions Trump for a slot on the hit NBC show
In the latest installment of “You Can’t Make this Sh*t Up,” Orenthal James Simpson…yes one O.J. Simpson has petitioned Donald Trump to appear in the next version of his NBC series “The Celebrity Apprentice” according to the New York Post’s Page Six. And of course the Donald is considering it, after all why wouldn’t he?! The ratings and controversy could be amazing.
“Simpson really wants to do it. Trump and NBC are thinking about it, but are being very cautious,” a source told the column. “There’s a certain amount of heat associated with Simpson.”
Ya Think?! Heat is good for ratings though. I watched last season and there was a considerable amount of name calling could you imagine what would happen the first time someone calls him a murderer?! Talk about classic television moments.Â

That would be crazy. Honestly trump may be in an odd position because though most may believe that OJ did kill those people, he was found not guilty and shouldn’t be discriminated against it based on the trial. Of course in the end Trump could just say “OJ doesn’t have the star power to be on the show” but that would just seem like a cop out.
He does have the star power…but I think its he’d have a stronger case if he uses the current pending case.
