  1. Someone correct me if I’m wrong but I believe there was a period in time where Orish came back and replaced Irish in the group when Irish was pregnant and could not tour without most people even picking up on the switch. Then after giving birth Irish came back and Orish left again.

There has always been interchanging members of 702. It’s sad that Orish would pass considering she never solidly identified as a member of the group to most people.

    • Correction, Orish replaced Lameisha and was indeed a full time member at the time of her death.

      • Ashley says:

The thing is Orish was in and out of the group a lot. A lot of the time she filled when any of the other girls were pregnant or when Kameelah left the group. She had also rejoined the group in the late 90′s and was a memeber at the time of her death. See Orish and Irish are twins but people get confused because Orish and her sister Lemisha look more like twins than Orish and Irish

No she right she did replace her twin why she was prenant and left and came back to replace the other and stayed until her death she always was in and out or really never left just took a sit in the back

Ok was she in the actual group? Is that her on the album/cd covers? Do they not have a better picture of her? Were they Identical twins cause that photo and the one on the cover doesn’t actually look the same.

    • precious says:

Irish and Orish are identical twins. The pic of her is from back in the 90s when they first came out. Orish was the founder and one of four original group members. Orish left the group and then returned only for a short time to fill in for her older sister lameisha, while she was on maternity leave. So, no she was not an active member at the time of her death.

      • Yeah she was a founding member. I think she was still involved with the group behind the scenes but she was the one who initiated the group. Her declining health however sidelined her career. A shame. Sorry I didn’t have a better photo.

      • Ashley says:

Irish and Orish are twin but they are not identical. Irish is the mocha colored one that always has her hair long, Kameelah is always singing lead, Orish is the light one with short hair. The one you are referring to that looks like Orish is her sister Lemisha. Orish and Lemisha look more like identical twins, than does her actual twin
